[ UT2004 Cache Extractor ] (zip) [version 1.0 released 2005-04-04]
Description
The Unreal Tournament Cache Extractor Script reads the contents of your "Cache.ini" file in the Cache Folder of your UT installation. It renames the cached files to their correct names and after that clears the Cache.ini file from those entries.
Installation
Put the scriptfile "UTCacheExtract.jse" in your Cache Folder of your UT installation... really hard...
Operation
Simply run the file by clicking it. If you have scriptblocking services in the form of an antivirus program you have to allow the script to run when the scriptblocking software warns you that the script wants to access a file. It is harmless... for all files except your Cache.ini file. Trust me.. not that I would but if you feel insecure ask someone who knows a bit about JScript or JavaScript to have a look at it and I'm sure they'll say the same.
After running the script you have a bunch of files not named something wierd like "2E78DBA011D51B4AA000978B3D7651CC.uxx" but rather "UTMod.u" and "CTFLamer.unr". If you don't wanna download these files again the next time they are used on a server, you should put them in their correct folders instead. Files named .unr are UT maps and should be placed in the folder "Maps". Likewise are .utx files textures and goes in... "Textures" (mommy look I got it right), .umx is music (gotta be that folder named "Sou... Music"), .uax is sounds (put'em in "Sounds"... duh) and .u are UT scripts (these go in the "System" Folder).
